I'm going to lay out my garden a little differently in the late winter. Going to mulch some areas to plant with wood chips and put up fencing to trellis plant. I spend a bit more time tending to weeds here than I would like with my current layouts.

        I am a huge proponent of mulching. Back in the day when I still subscribed to a daily newspaper I would mulch with newspaper laid down thickly between the rows and then cover it with a heavy layer of straw that I would buy in bales. I seldom had a single weed between the rows. I am physically unable to garden anymore and I do miss it.
