Don't be bittered about people's progress
The healthiest mindset is to proactively let go of bitterness and maintain faith that your season of flourishing will come too if you stay focused on your unique path.
Remember too that no one’s journey is without struggle and setback. While others may appear from the outside to be leading blessed, perfect lives, rest assured they have likely faced and overcome challenges and adversity you cannot see. Their path is not yours to walk. Keep your eyes focused straight ahead on putting one foot faithfully in front of the other, and you will get where you need to go and fulfill your purpose too.
Most importantly, do not waste your precious mental bandwidth resenting or feeling victimized by the people you perceive to be passing you by. That bitterness and envy will only cloud your thinking, weigh down your spirit, and drain energy that could be better invested working toward your goals. As the saying goes, jealousy or hatred is like drinking poison and expecting it to harm others. It will only make your own life more bitter and limit your possibilities.
Rather than breed resentment, take inspiration from others’ accomplishments and use them to fire up your own motivation. Their success means achieving your dreams is also possible with focused effort. With hard work, patience, and trust in your own path, your gifts will also find fertile soil to blossom and flourish. But first you must proactively weed out the thistles of negativity that can choke out growth. Keep cultivating your unique talents, and your turn will come.
If you sense envy or bitterness creeping in, combat it by redirecting your focus to gratitude for the blessings and achievement you already have in your own life. No one has it all. Watering seeds of gratitude will help guard your heart and mind against envy’s insidious, downward pull. Seek out positive role models you can learn from without becoming bitter toward. And importantly, the only comparison you should make is with your own past self. Measure your progress against your starting point, not against others farther along.
Instead, find inspiration in others' accomplishments. Let them stir motivation rather than bitterness. Their success means achieving your dreams is also possible with dedicated effort. With hard work and patience, your gifts will also find fertile soil to blossom. But first you must weed out the negative emotions hindering growth. Keep cultivating your skills, and your turn will come.

Redirecting your focus to the good around you will help guard against envy's downward pull. Find positive role models you can learn from without becoming bitter toward. And most importantly, compare yourself only to your own past progress, not the progress others have made.
At the end of the day, each person's path unfolds at a different rhythm. Everything is not a competition, and your worth is not defined by external achievement.
Bitterness and envy will only breed more discontent. Release comparisons and negative emotions, and have faith that your gifts too will find fulfillment in due course as you walk in purpose. Then get back to watering your own grass - the most fruitful use of your energy.
