Deseando una semana llena de milagros, la Fe se mantenga y no se agriete; se mantenga firme así como lo que significa.

Me encantan las mariposas, en sus diferentes tamaños y colores, admiro quienes con sus cámaras logran inmortalizarlas en ellas en espacios diferentes, hayan flores o no. Comparto estas imágenes porque pude hacer estas capturas, con las alas abiertas no lo logré, igual me agrada verlas así posando en una ixora en mi pequeño jardín.

Para mí, las mariposas tienen un significado que transmite paz, libertad o cada quien la percibe como quiere, para mi es eso y más. Recuerdo mucho en la procesión desde la funeraria hasta el campo del olvido (cementerio) el día que despedimos a mi madre, esta procesión desde que salimos de la funeraria hasta llegar al cementerio estuvo acompañada por una legión de mariposas, esta vez de color amarillo de diferentes tamaños. La primera que vi, fue en la funeraria que voló alrededor de mi, en las afueras de ella, luego me doy cuenta en el camino hacia el sitio donde reposan los restos de mi madre fueron muchas.

Luego, en casa en el patio de mi casa donde vivió mi madre por muchos años, alrededor de unas plantas que sembró como el Neem y el Noni, la nube de mariposas bordeaban estos árboles. Significado espiritual, con el tiempo, para mi he ido decodificando esta experiencia.

Pues, la Mariposa que muestro es la Mariposa Monarca, cuyo nombre científico es Danaus plexippus, esta tiene características, aquí algunas:

*Patrón de color: Sus alas presentan un característico tono naranja vibrante surcado por venas gruesas de color negro y un borde exterior negro salpicado de finos puntos blancos.

*Defensa natural: Durante su etapa de larva se alimenta casi exclusivamente de plantas del género Asclepias (algodoncillo), acumulando toxinas que la vuelven desagradable y tóxica para la mayoría de los depredadores.

*Resistencia y vuelo: Es célebre por realizar una de las migraciones más largas e impresionantes del reino de los insectos en América del Norte, aunque en zonas tropicales y subtropicales existen poblaciones residentes que permanecen en el mismo hábitat todo el año.

*Hábitos: se la observa libando el néctar de una Ixora (conocida habitualmente como cruz de Malta o coralillo), una flor muy atractiva para diversos polinizadores. Este es uno de sus hábitos.

Aquí, comparto de forma más sostenida ese significado Espiritual del que comenté en párrafos anteriores. La mariposa es uno de los emblemas más profundos de *transformación, luz y evolución personal:

*Metamorfosis y Renacimiento: Representa el viaje del alma o de la mente a través de sus fases: la oruga (el plano terrenal y de nutrición), la crisálida (el tiempo de introspección, pausa y paciencia) y finalmente la mariposa (la liberación, el despertar y el vuelo elevado).

*Confianza en los Procesos: Nos recuerda que todo cambio profundo exige soltar la seguridad de lo conocido. Para obtener sus alas, debe abandonar primero la forma y la estructura del capullo.

*Ligereza y Flexibilidad: Simboliza la capacidad de soltar cargas del pasado, recordándonos abordar la vida con mayor liviandad, gracia y apertura ante los ciclos de transición.

*Presencia y Sincronicidad: En muchas tradiciones se la considera una mensajera de esperanza, paz y alineación, una señal sutil de que estás transitando tu propio proceso de florecimiento con sabiduría.

Cuando una mariposa aparece tras la partida de un ser querido

Esta es una de las interpretaciones más sentidas. En diversas culturas, la mariposa se entiende como un símbolo del alma y de la continuidad de la vida. Por eso, para muchas personas, ver una mariposa después de la pérdida de un ser querido se vive como un gesto de cercanía, consuelo y permanencia del recuerdo. La tradición mexicana del Día de los Muertos, en la que la llegada de las monarcas coincide con el regreso simbólico de quienes ya partieron, es uno de los ejemplos más conocidos de esta creencia.

Cuando se acerque a ti una mariposa de cualquier tamaño y color, pregúntate y pregúntale a ella: ¿Qué vienes a mostrarme? O sólo dedica un minuto de tiempo a mirar la belleza de ellas, la forma de su vuelo, como toma el néctar de las flores. Ya lo demás queda de acuerdo a tus creencias.

I love butterflies, in their different sizes and colors. I admire those who manage to capture them with their cameras in various settings, whether there are flowers or not. I'm sharing these images because I was able to take these shots; I couldn't get them with their wings open, but I still enjoy seeing them perched on an ixora in my small garden.

For me, butterflies have a meaning that conveys peace, freedom, or whatever each person perceives it as they wish. For me, it's that and more. I vividly remember the procession from the funeral home to the cemetery on the day we said goodbye to my mother. From the moment we left the funeral home until we arrived at the cemetery, this procession was accompanied by a legion of butterflies, this time yellow and of different sizes. The first one I saw was at the funeral home; they flew around me, just outside. Then, on the way to my mother's final resting place, I realized there were many more.

Later, at home, in the yard where my mother lived for many years, around some plants she had planted, like Neem and Noni, a cloud of butterflies bordered these trees. Over time, I've come to understand the spiritual significance of this experience.

The butterfly I'm showing is the Monarch butterfly, whose scientific name is Danaus plexippus. It has some characteristics, some of which are:

Here, I share more fully the spiritual meaning I mentioned in previous paragraphs. The butterfly is one of the most profound emblems of *transformation, light, and personal evolution:

*Trust in Processes: It reminds us that all profound change requires letting go of the security of the known. To gain its wings, it must first abandon the form and structure of the cocoon.

*Lightness and Flexibility: It symbolizes the ability to release burdens from the past, reminding us to approach life with greater lightness, grace, and openness to the cycles of transition.

*Presence and Synchronicity: In many traditions, it is considered a messenger of hope, peace, and alignment, a subtle sign that you are navigating your own process of blossoming with wisdom.

When a butterfly appears after the passing of a loved one

This is one of the most heartfelt interpretations. In various cultures, the butterfly is understood as a symbol of the soul and the continuity of life. Therefore, for many people, seeing a butterfly after the loss of a loved one is experienced as a gesture of closeness, comfort, and the enduring memory. The Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), in which the arrival of monarch butterflies coincides with the symbolic return of those who have passed on, is one of the best-known examples of this belief.

When a butterfly of any size and color approaches you, ask yourself and ask it: What have you come to show me? Or simply dedicate a minute to observing its beauty, the way it flies, how it sips nectar from flowers. The rest is up to you and your beliefs.
