Yippee ๐๐
It's so great and amazing to be here. You know when you have a passion for something and you got hold of a platform that supports and guide you through the process of making that passion of yours worthwhile. You can imagine that kind of feelings and emotions that comes through with it (It's like you not having a dime and boom you saw a credit alert with a description of "manage it" ๐๐ฅฐ๐). You smiled right? Yeah that's what I'm good at and love to do and that reminds me that I'm yet to introduce myself ๐ค
So I'm someone with a heart of gold and diamond๐, small body but big engine of different and multi-talents ๐ฅฐ๐ Yeah gimme the flowers and roses๐นโบ๏ธ. It doesn't surprise me at this stage when people compliment me to be a multitasker(allow me use that grammar ๐๐) because at times I also wonder if I'm really the one into all the things I do.
Now let's start from the basics of the Me Me introduction. I am Opadele Kehinde Beatrice by name and I'm sure you would likely wanna call me Beatrice because that's probably the name you can relate with so it's fine ๐๐. I'm jovial, caring, fun to be with, ready to meet new people, adventurous and any lovely attributes you can think of โบ๏ธ
I hailed from Osun state, Ile-ife precisely where the light of the day starts from as the elders and predecessors in Yorubaland would say. You know in Osun state, we have so many great towns, places to visit for adventures,tourism,vacations or sight seeings. That's another post for another day though because it's a lot to embed in my introductory post, make Osun state no shine my shine ๐.
So I graduated from Yaba College of Technology of which I studied computer science, I finished with uppercredit (let me raise my crown small๐ cos it's part of it abeg). I was deployed to Akwa-ibom for my NYSC but redeployed to Ibadan cos I wasn't sure I wanted to stay at Akwa-ibom then(story for another day/post too).
I served with an NGO after which I was retained and worked there for 3 years. I'm a drawing artist, like I draw for a living of which many always find odd seeing me do it and coming out as an amazing piece. It is what I love doing you know, of which I would take us through that journey some other day if you follow up with my account ๐ซถ๐ค๐ cos I know you may be wondering how come I studied computer science and I'm here claiming to be a drawing artist too. No worries,the journey will be shared cos my experiences have been an amazing ones and they're worth your time reading through, trust me.
I'm also a Gospel artist/Minister. I sing, attend external church programs as guest minister where I sing alongside my band members to usher people into praising and worshiping their maker.
So during the period of my Gap year in my career, I started to discover myself "oh I think aside art, I love to write", it is something I had an idea about but I wasn't thinking it is what I could do openly like this but upon reflection, I realized I am made to do this ๐ช๐
So I came across a friend who introduced me to a blog site where I could make my articles seen by the public and i started implementing my ideas and bringing my write-ups to life. I shared this with my loved ones to check-in and that's how my Hive mentor @vickoly came into book referring me to this great community called HIVE.
He also complimented me "You have many talents" and I'm like I know myself ๐ God created me on a weekend so he patiently and joyfully made me and embedded me with so much๐ฅฐ๐.
When you don't see me doing all the above mentioned, you would see me doing graphics design (though not professional),or doing my personal art video edits.
So let's keep the whole hyping and face the reality. I'm here on HIVE to mingle, explore, meet great minds, make connections, network with career boosters and make great circle of friends here. Another sweet spot @vickoly mentioned was that Hive is not just about writing or making post alone but as I'm writing, I'm also making money ๐ฐ Wawu! I love this ๐น๐ฅฐ๐. Right here, I'll be sharing with us discussable topics, knowledge sharing, self gists about experiences and journey in life so far (direct and indirectly), adventures, stories to lighten up your day or to lay you to bed peacefully to having a restful night and many more that I might not be able to mention now but trust me when I say it will be worth your time ๐.
