Over the years, in my early childhood days, I was able to understand what abduct means. The rampant word was 'kidnapping'. This was very rampant during political mobilization or campaigns for the Governorship election or presidential election, but in my State, it was majorly during the Governorship election. A lot of things happened during that time, and it brought fear to the hearts of many. Many children were kidnapped on their way to school and on their coming back from school. A lot of things happened, fights and the killing of innocent people were spilled around just to sit in power. Was it necessary? Not all. This is called dirty politics, it doesn't give Glory to God. Their hands filled with filthiness.
Even in the small streets that lead to primary school, a group of pupils were kidnapped, till today, their parents have not heard from them. Many atrocities were committed to the point it wasn't encouraging. I might not know how the investigation of an abduct case came about, but it could be something that led to something that brought this evil idea or thoughts that have been piercing our society.
However, we still have abduct cases investigated everywhere in the world. A few days ago, I got a piece of news that popped up on my phoenix-browser that one of the churches of a popular pastor in Nigeria had been kidnapped. You know what excited me? The response the pastor who oversaw the church gave to one of the kidnappers who spoke with him on the phone about the price of money to be issued to them for the release of the church member.
The response from the pastor was, "I will not give you any money, go and repent and follow Jesus, and he said his member should be released so-so day". This was a man who spoke with authority as it was given to him, right from the first day he gave his life to Christ.
Another recent abduct investigation case was revealed, as three pupils were kidnapped and put inside a cutter for 3 consecutive days, but God brought them out through an unknown person.
This act or practice is everywhere, and it happens every day on the street, house, school, church, and through planned or confided connections towards the individual, which is not proper. Some will be killed, some escaped, some injured, some sold out.
This content is written for people to be careful and be aware of the society we are coming from. It's just to show that we are in a world where people do not love each other.
Love is very paramount as we journey through our lives on earth.
We should try and be careful, prayerful, and peaceful.
