Few days ago two of my friends came around my house for a visit, it's close to five years since we saw last, so it was indeed memorable to be,
One of them travelled to Lagos Nigeria for a job which eventually didn't workout, and has been from one job to another very odds jobs just to earn a living, and these is are my childhood friends we grew up together in the same locality, these guy is a multitalented individual of which I really admire, while in college he was able to produce a film and other comedy skits then but along the line he stopped all that and went off.
In Nigeria today the highest earning average person utilises the power of the Nigerian media space which is second to none in the African space and globally, Nigeria is home to over 200 million persons not to count those abroad which all connects on different social media front ends, which makes it all together unique and special and at ease to live above the norm,
Before now in Nigeria all there is was just a stand up comedy nights called night of a thousand laugh it usually is a big show and all the comedian would be present, no one ever taught about it untill someone started the idea, came up with about making short comedy skits and throw it up on YouTube gradually these dude was gainning traction by the day, there after another after another and today comedians in Nigeria are among the richest earning Individuals in the country. Through endorsement deals, advert placement, sponsorships, brand ambassadors, brand influencers etc.
After my friend narrated his very tough ordeal and experiences he had and went through in Lagos I just laughed, there I told him, man you're super talented and gifted in comedy, you've done a lot of series which you abandon going to chase after other things meanwhile you have a goldmine within you, why did you leave it, he was trying to bring in the money aspect and lack of sponsorship, pointing out to the big guys now and how much money they had to put into be that successful, that's when I told him money is not necessary at this point.
I told him the hardest thing to do in life is to start something, because that's when all your willpower is required to make it happen all that determination and stability you've got will be needed to succeed at least for the first three months, most of these big guys now if you could do a background check on them to see how they started you'd marvelled at how they got here, just them their zeal, passion and the optimism to continue, believing in that dream of what they had to succeed , so they consciously, undoubtedly continued in pushing their Dreams to all media platforms, the more views they generate the more they keep doing until sponsorship, endorsement deals started coming forth and today they are super wealthy just from comedy skits nothing else.
The key thing here is CONSISTENCY while my friend complained a lot about funds I told him in life one of the key principles to succeed is that you must stay consistent in what you're doing, I told him keep pushing yourself up by the time you have created enough attention to your self then sponsorship becomes too easy to come by, but before then you must be willing to invest in yourself first before others will come...
SUCCESS IS A PROOF OF FAILURE
The end result of staying consistent is success and success is failure-proof that is as far as you're determined to do it, not stopping even if you fail a thousand times because your mine is stayed on it, you will keep going and by the time sponsors can now be convinced that yes it is worthwhile to throw in their sponsorship, investments, and endorsement deals.
UTILISE THE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA SPACE TO YOUR ADVANTAGE
This principles is applied to anyone all over the world no matter were you're who you're or whatever you're into any line of business, before now businesses were limited to just a physical location but now it is beyond that you can be in china and sale something to someone who is in Nigeria at ease through social media ads placement or online shopping store thanks to Amazon and the likes.

Talking with my friends I realise that their minds WERE all fixed on money, money, money but truthfully speaking that's not all there is, proof of success is CONSISTENCY, breed from ground zero have a proof of what you know that can stand the test of time,

I said earlier that one of the toughest thing to do in life is to start something new, @acidyo said something one time that to start anything requires ten times the power of your imagination, willpower, enthusiasm, optimism to Initiate it, Time, resource, money, energy, will be burnt to actualise that dream and all these is possible when consistency and the will power to FURGE ahead inspire of the obstacles.
