Welcome to my weekly #saturdaysavers post, a frequent saving update I make every week as my s a participation in Saturday Savers Club. #saturdaysavers club is saving club, so you can expect our activities are all about sharing our saving updates, and it can go all the way whether it is on HIVE or outside HIVE including in our real world asset.

And my answer in his post was a cheap lunch which was this...
It was just a simple plain white rice with some soup and chili paste. I had a fried chicken as the main dish there. And that warm tea was free of charge. Overall it cost me a bit less of a dollar.
So why is a cheap or a budget lunch important for me?
There won't be a correct answer for this, as I know everyone have their own preference and each people hold different value and life goal. But let me share you why a cheap lunch or meal is important for me.
First of all, I am a stingy person who cut off any unnecessary budget. That's what my friend tell other about me. I believe what I do is just living a frugal lifestyle. I do budgeting and cut all unnecessary expenses. I differ what people say WANT with what people say NEED.
I won't make this one as a long post about frugality or doing the frugal living. You may call me stingy, same as like my real world friends call me. I will stick with my value there as I will always focus on what trully matters, which is value in simplicity rather than consumerism.
Speaking about food or meal, I am not blessed with a healthy strong body. I am comparatively weak, I get food poisoning easily, and as I write this post, I just recovered from GERD.
Getting a cheap food is not easy for me. Cheap food or meal doesn't mean that anything that I need to pay less. I can easily get food or dishes from street stall or hawkers, and it's like 50:50 whether I will be ok or I might be sick or maybe later tonight my family must take me into hospital due to food poisoning.
So it is not only about pricing. The taste, the nutrient, and the hygiene play great part too. That's the main reason why I am happy whenever I find some cheap meals, because not all meal I can eat and still be safely ok with that.
I know some people such as @deraaa won't believe this story lol, but it is up to them to believe this or not. Ok that's for today chit chat...
Now let's see my saving update here..
PRIMARY TARGET : HBD SAVING
My primary goal is to grow my $HBD Saving, to reach 5.000 $HBD Saving in this year, 2025. That is an ambitious target regarding I started 2025 with 0 $HBD. Mathematically this means I need to get $95 HBD every week.
I have 50 $HBD saving right now. For 5 weeks in a straight, I get the same amount of 10 $HBD saving weekly growth. I think that's the current author rewards weekly rate I get on Hive. I do not see anyhow I could increase this value, and writing more posts won't solve this issue.
So as I always say in my #saturdaysavers posts, the only way I could reach my saving goal here is to get external fund into the $HBD savings. Currently it is far from my capacity, however I believe the opportunities are still there.
Maybe not this week, and not this month. Who knows what will happen next month or next quarter.
SECONDARY TARGET : HIVE POWER (HP)
Hive Power (HP) is very important for all Hivers who plan to stay long on this blockchain. For 2025, my secondary goal is to have 13.500 Hive Power (HP). It's not a big target and I want to make as many people realize that it is important to grow your Hive Power.
I have reached 11.339 HP this week, it was a 85 HP growth last week. Unlike my main saving goal, $HBD saving, this secondary target is growing better. Maybe the HIVE price which is at low right now plays greater part in it.
Although my HIVE POWER growth is not something that spectacular, I still like the growth rate. I have some long term plan about pushing this HIVE POWER up to orca's level, which is around 60k HP. However I need to be realistic here, let's aim that next year, not this year.
This year let's focus on HBD first. With that being said, it closes my post for this week. Happy Saving guys!
