I am not very sure, but maybe most of the people int his crypto world has so much money on their pocket to be played around with. I have been burnt before (small amount) during the BSC (Binance coin) meme token craze, so I make sure I stay away from those memes on Solana. I just don't want to spend my money one them anymore. although the truth I am broke which makes me stay away from them.
But don't we really want to learn form the bad things in the past? I know that now most of the people jump into crypto because the overnight success story of those who were trading some meme token, but those money are contributed to the other who are holding the worthless bag in the end of the pump and dump cycle. That should already raised the alarm to get your hand off those meme token.
And the latest is what happening on Trump token, now after Trump has taken the office, the price of the token has Plummeted a lot, that should already give a big red alarm signal to not be carried away with token that said to be associated to any world leader anymore.
But looking at what happening at LIBRA token, I think we all, and those who lost money deserved it because we never learn from the mistake.
