I might be a little bit late to ride this wave, but my hands are itching to write about it. haha This is about how Chine released another Ai that somehow rocked the international technology world. Recently most of our attention has been focused on OpenAi with its ChatGPT AI which has been working really well, and some other American-based companies as well, that have been leading the market.
But then it for disrupted by the presence of Deepseek, the Chinese AI competitor that released with better performance and a lot lower subscription price. The funds needed to build this AI is also a lot less than those needed to develop ChatGPT. at least that is what has been reported by some of the news channels.
The release also rocks the stock market, making the Ndivia Stock Market to plunge sharply after the release of this new AI.
Does it means that we really will enter a new type of war, the cyber war that has been predicted years ago when the Internet first become popular? With China try to beat the American Hegemony, I don't think they will stand still and let those things happen that easily. I believe some retaliation will follow. It is interesting to see, but also a little bit scary to watch, those two giants are at war, usually the smaller one that got trampled and destroyed.
