There are a sad story that is coming from the Capital City of my country where it was hit hard by flooding. it has not come once, but almost every year, with the major flooding coming every five years. There seems to be no real solution for this, because the politician and the leader will always use this case as the selling point on every election rally, ignorant people who dump the trash into the rivers, the stupid and crook developers with the help of a corrupt bureaucrat who give permission to the developer to build in the floodplain area, so when one thing that they control which is rainfall become a little bit too excessive, then major flooding will happen.
And who will pay the ultimate price? those the common people out there who have to safe their lives, while watching everything that they have submerged underwater. very sad, but it Is almost a reality that never end, and will never likely to end, because the poor planning of the city, and the bad behaviour of our people who always love to break the law so that they can have something for themselves without any care for the consequences.
without any major changes in our mindset and our behaviour I think that this kind of issue will always come every year. Not sut in the capital city, but also in the city where I live which is now already experiencing some heavy flooding as well, something that is never heard of 10 or 15 years ago.
Things change indeed, and we are all at fault to let this kind of thing happen in our home.
