Turning My Ideas to Custom GU Cards: Conditional Cards

Greetings!
Gods Unchained is a really good card game. However, I wanted to make something more unique that would make the playing experience much more fun. So, I decided to make 12 custom cards for Gods Unchained, with a new keyword called Conditional().

All card art was AI generated by MS Bing.

Keywords

During the making of this card, I made a new keyword, which is Conditional.

Conditional()

You can only play this card when the conditions in this bracket is achieved during your opponent's last turn.

Thoughts: This keyword is basically a debuff for cards, as it makes the cards harder to play. However, I tried to make the cards powerful than the normal cards around the same mana cost to make it balanced, since I wanted to make the cards not too overpowered. I don't know if the GU code is able to do this, but I just made these cards for fun.

Rare Cards

I will start with the Rare cards, and share my thoughts about it. Since I made these a long time ago, I kind of changed my mind for some card's opinion.

Magic: Second Casting
This card basically copies 1 spell that their opponent played, while also reducing the mana cost by 3 while costing 3 mana. That means that it might be hard to play on a small spell, but you probably won't anyway. Looking back, I might've reduced the mana cost to 2, though, considering the effect is not that amazing for 3 mana.


War: Leaper of War
1 Mana 4/1 Godblitz is INSANE. But, your opponent has to Play/Attack with their relic. This card really fluctuates depending on your opponent's deck. You might be able to play this at the first turn, or you might be never able to play it. Also, the opponent would be able to easily clear this card with the relic. However, I might've tuned down this card to Blitz.


Death: Wraith Knight
Another Knight Card for Death. This card needs your opponent to clear 1 or more friendly Frontline creatures. This card is basically a Poison Dart + 2/1 Frontline with armor. It might be powerful, so I should've made this card 1/1. Other then that, I think it is a nice card.


Deception: Identity Stealer
Deception gets a Relic that copies an enemy creature. On its own, this card is just a niche card with more easier side of conditional. But, if you can copy a very important creature, especially at the higher mana, you can turn the tide around. But, you have to attack it.


Nature: United Forest
Also more easier side of Condition here, playing and destroying 1 or more creature. This is basically a Rally the Band, but only Amazons and Wilds. It is not that OP, but I think it's going to be a must for all Aggro Nature decks.


Light: Skyborn Knight
Another Knight variant for Light, and this knight needs 2 or more creatures with Frontline to be destroyed. I think this card's too weak, considering the Conditional is on the harder side. So, I think it should be 3/3 instead of 2/2 to match it.



Legendary Cards

Next is the Legendary Cards. Again, I think some cards in here need some sort of buff.

Death: Theodore, Soul Warden
Theodore has really good AI art made, but the stats are not good... 3 or more creatures have to enter your void(destroyed). And, it deals 1, or 2 when frenzied, damage for each creature that entered your void (+1) THIS turn.

Although it additionally has a 5/5 Body with Blitz, I don't think it is good, especially with the Conditional. So, I think it should be changed to 3 damage when frenzied.


Deception: Cole, Shadow Dancer
Cole is suited for HRD. The conditional is easy when playing HRD: destroying 2 or more creatures with hidden, which is easily achieved through AoE. This card has 3/1 with 4 Armor and Flank. At the end of your turn, it loses 1 armor but gains Hidden, which is like Shadow of Lethadon + Armor Lurker. I think this is a solid card made, but not that much powerful.


Light: Orion, Paladin of Punishment
Conditional needs our god to be damaged by 5 or more, which is on the easier side. This card increases the lowest card's mana cost by 1, and if it is 9, you steal that card. Also it can gain hidden by Manasurge 6.
(Definitely not Deception Gimmicks)

Other than being too much Deception, this card is actually nice. It is hard to destroy, but the effects aren't punishing for a few turns.


Nature: Tuft, the United Forest Leader
Nature's theme on this set is union between Amazon and Wild, so I made this card. It needs 1 or more Amazon and Wild to be destroyed each, and after played, it can randomly give +2/+1, Blitz or Hidden to summoned Amazon/Wild. Also Raid gives Regan +2.

It is a niche card which doesn't fit into any of the meta decks, but I think the effects are okay to not make this card trash.


Magic: Vaemond, Mysterious Spellcaster
Vaemond needs 2 or more creatures with Spellboost to be destroyed, which is also easy using the Echo Spellboosts. It has Hidden for 1turn, Ward and Spellboost +1, and can gain +1 spellboost by Dreadtouched. It also gains +1 Spellboost at the end of the turn, and if it reaches 5 or more, you gain a 1 mana Wyrmbreath.

It also needs some time to reach Spellboost +5 (normally), but when it reaches 5 you get insane rewards. I don't see this card surviving more than 3 turns though.


War: Bloodraven, the War General
It needs 2 or more damaged creature to be damaged again, which is also fairly easy. And, when a damaged creature is damaged again, it summons a 2/2 Elite soldier, but if the board is full they gain +1/+1 instead.

Interesting card made here, and it needs that MJ card that gives +1/+1 to friendly creature when damaged, since it can damage the whole board using Empower. Summoning effects are also nice, and I think it would easily go into Olympian War deck. (OP?)

I haven't thought about that! I think it would be really cool to do in the future :)

I like Leaper of War, it would make an aggro war deck more aggressive and faster.
