Greetings!
Welcome to my "Today's Gods Unchained Game", where I share my past interesting games that are captured. For this week, we have this Midrange Nature Deck, costing around $100.
This deck is a deck that I used a few weeks ago, before Midrange Nature rose up in Meta. It is kind of a usual Midrange nature Deck with no Dread Maraduer and Compost Charm because it is budget Midrange.
I think Nature has now fallen back behind the Meta decks (again), and others like Death and Deception is strong now.
Key Cards
There may be more suitable for Midrange Nature, but I choose those 2 cards based on my thoughts about it.
That Which Feeds Us is in almost all good-performing decks, especially the fact that it is a Curious Wisp that grows much bigger, and has Blitz.
Ember Oni has been a staple card in any Control or Midrange Deck, simply due to its powerful Roar ability that could change the game at 7 Mana.
Game
This game was against Deception, that was focusing around old HRD, but also in a modern way by not entirely a rushing deck. Thankfully, Hidden is weak against Nature decks.
1 Mana
I play nothing, to save my pip.
2 Mana
They play the 1/1 Cat, so I remove it with Underbush Boar. They play Armor Lurker.
3 Mana
I go face with my Boar and also use GP. I also could've used Lash Out but I just kept it. They Cutthroat the Ember Oni.
4 Mana
I go with Raid Swarm to take out the Armor Lurker, and I use GP again with the remaining Mana.
5 Mana
They played Shade Walker, which is easily removed by Lash Out. I also GP with my remaining mana.
5.5 Mana
They went wide with Pietro, so I had no choice but to play some monsters here.
6 Mana
Their attacks are kind of strong, but with the Crawling Madness (before nerf) that I got it from Lootable Corpse, I was able to use it to clear their board.
6.5 Mana
They did not have a really strong threat on board right now, so I used Winter's Bounty.
7 Mana
I traded some units, and it was not obvious what the best play was in this situation. So, I used Shine On Us All to reduce Switch Dualist's strength to 1 on their turn, and used Rune of Sight.
7.3 Mana
They had some threats with the cat, but I chose to develop the board with the unit that I delved from Shine, and also using GP.
7.6 Mana
They seemed to ran out of cards in their hand, so I just played Dearly Departed (which failed) and That Which Feeds Us.
8 Mana
I tried to clear the hidden units, but I realized that they were low, so I went face with it.
8.25 Mana
Toast makes me mill a card, but that also gives me the perfect reason to use Lash Out here.
8.5 Mana
They play 2 creatures, so I use Blood in the Water to clear it both.
8.75 Mana
Somehow, they still have some cards in their hand. I use Shine + Dearly Departed combo to clear the remaining cards, and also clear the board with Underbush Boar.
9 Mana
They were able to outlast until 9 Mana, but they were low and was finished by my units. GG!
Outro
Thanks for reading my short game post! Gods Unchained may not be fun to some, but it has a variety of Meta decks that you can try out in any rank. You could also earn some decent amount of GODS by just playing the game.
This deck is not performing well now, though. So I would recommend another deck that's doing good right now in GUdecks.
