What I am going to show you today is a very rare thing and people have been making and selling it for hundreds of years. Earlier, people used to give it as a gift to their loved ones, but now for some years, people have been making it and selling it in the market. Its production is very low, rather it is very limited and this thing is prepared in very special areas. We call it bori in our language. It is bori and is sold in the summer season. Some people save this bori and eat it in the winter too because its effect is warm. But what is special is that this bori is very limited and is prepared in very few areas, while its price in the market is very high and it is sold very expensively. Whenever the summer season comes, people wait for this bori to come to the shops to be sold. This special type of people eat it with great enthusiasm. Children, the elderly, people of all ages eat it. It has a sweet taste and even diabetics can eat it. It is delicious for all ages. People like to eat it, but children also mix dry milk in it and it is also eaten by mixing dry milk. You must be wondering how it is eaten. It is eaten in the form of powder. It is not added to any liquid, but it is eaten as a dry powder. These big stone-like pieces that look like stones to you are actually very soft and whenever they are ground, they are ground into a powder. So children add dry milk to the porter and then the dry milk and its taste become very delicious.

As I have told you above, we call it Bori in our local language. This Bori is made from a plant and when it flowers on this plant and when the flowers dry, then they are broken and in this way, different ingredients are added inside it and then whatever the plant is or whatever the flowers are, they take this shape. But it requires a lot of effort to make it and this plant grows near rivers or where there is stagnant water. Thus, the experts there who know how to make it collect the flowers or whatever material is from this plant. Then after collecting them, they bring it home and then it is prepared in a very simple way by going through different stages. But I have never seen it being made with my own eyes, but I have heard from my parents and friends that the method of making it is very easy but it takes a lot of effort. So this food is very It is limited, people prepare it in special areas where this plant is present. Let me also tell you that no one grows this plant, rather it grows naturally underwater. So when it grows naturally underwater, then you should understand that this plant is very rare, it is found in very limited areas or in the areas where it is found, the people there do not know its importance. But the people who prepare this bori food, they pick the flowers of this plant or whatever it is from those areas and then prepare this bori from it.

I was really eager to eat Bori. A friend called me and said that Bori has grown in the market. So I left all my work and quickly went to buy it. When I reached the shop, the shopkeeper had a large quantity of Bori, but it was not that much. He had about 40 kg of Bori and the price of one kg was 1200 rupees, which is four dollars. Thus, one kg of Bori was being sold for four dollars, which is 1200 rupees in Pakistani rupees. So I bought one kg because my children, my whole family, eat it with great enthusiasm. When my children saw that this year's fresh Bori had arrived, they were very happy because we wait for it with great eagerness every year. So the children mixed this Bori with dry milk and ate it. I did not add anything extra to it, but I cut it into small pieces and then kept eating it. It is very delicious. And it is very tasty and in the areas where this sack is prepared, people go to get it as gifts and it is not available all over Pakistan but it is very special and it is sold in some areas where people eat it with great enthusiasm and people go from far away to buy it in those areas where this sack is available. So you can see that this is a very rare food and it is a native food and we can also call it local food. Its effect is warm and it does not harm your body in any way. Rather, it is a natural food that is prepared in very simple ways. No chemicals are used in it, but only natural ingredients are added to it.

This food of today is also a rare food and this food has been made by people in rural areas for centuries, but today, since the modern era has come, there are very few people who make it and that is why it is now becoming a completely rare food. This food is available for a very short time. It comes to the food market for a few weeks in the summer, but very soon it becomes a favorite of people again because people like it very much and it sells out quickly and it is available in very small quantities. So those who eat it are happy for the whole year and those who cannot eat it are a little sad that they did not eat it. But there are many beautiful things in this life, many sweet fruits and among these fruits, this sack is also a rare and sweet food. So I am sharing this with you all so that you can also see that this is a unique food of our region which we call Puri and these people give it to their friends and relatives who live in distant areas every year. They also send it as a gift. I don't know in which other areas or countries this food is prepared, but in our Pakistan it is prepared in rural areas and especially in those rural areas where there is water and its plant is also present in the water.
