Day after day she attempted to bring the golem of Reynold to life.

This part got me so emotional. I understand how it must have been for Ann to lose the love her life, leaving her alone in the world. I could understand her desire to make Reynold live through the golem so she could have him by her side again. That was a sad story and well crafted too.
