Timmy the ring bearer, I enjoy every bit of this story. But then what is the history of the ring? The mother does seem surprise when she held the ring. She must have known of its power and why was just powerful piece placed at the basement?

        No one knows the history of the ring. It remains a mystery and when the mother held it, she didn't feel any of its magical powers. It only worked when tImmy held it.
