RE: An innocent mistake

in The Ink Well7 months ago (edited)

I remembered a short clip that I had watched. The mother served burnt food and the child complained about it, but the father appreciated that it was perfectly delicious. The child was confused about the words of his dad. After the meal, he asked his dad, why did you say it dad? It was obvious that the food was burnt. The father replied, your mom is so tired doing all the chores. Every day she's doing it by herself. Let us help her by appreciating her work at least it would ease her burden.

I was even complaining about small things in my life. But that clip taught me to appreciate those. We may not have the same view in life. Especially since I came from an incomplete family. Cherishing the moments while they are still at our side is very important. I guess most of the moms act like that for them to be valued. Saying I love you with a hug I guess could change their mood. I missed my mom while reading your story. 💔

Ohh, thank you for sharing this with me. Mothers are beautiful creatures and all we can do is appreciate them for all they are doing.
