RE: Ann's Golem

in The Ink Welllast year

I love steampunk but starting to read it I was pretty sure I would know how it ends. So the only interest was your treatment of the subject and how you take me there. And wow, that was smooth. Like real mature top of the chain scotch level smooth. You managed to get me out of testing you, to just empathizing with Ann, and hoping that the golem does indeed come to life. The paragraph after the solemn news felt a bit rushed, and I though "Aha got you" but now you managed to get back on track and take me slowly into Ann's desperate hopes and tragic memories. Thank you for writing so well. This was the first #dreemport entry I checked out on my own, and it was a great start :)

Thank you.
If you like steampunk keep an eye out for @SarChonaChronicles, where I'm developing a non-earth steampunk novel

Will do! Thanks.
