Wow, what a wonderful story.
I'm pretty sure that he tell his mum no matter what.
This kind of situation is what had happened to me, but I had to stay outside hungry just to wait for my mum to come back.

        Definitely, Dave is the mummy's boy. Just few snacks from the mum he'll start singing every details to her. I feel for the sister though. Massive canning loading for her. So sorry about that too. Things like that happens once in a while.
