Great haiku! I love that picture, just so much beautiful color. That's interesting about the lion, it's amazing how that one animal from Africa was incorporated throughout Europe and Asia into royalty and even religions. I guess technically the lion did exist in southern Europe and Asia some ten thousand years ago though.
