We often underestimate the power of a small change in our life. Today I decided to write about this interesting topic brought to us by @galenkp without further ado let's get started!

You have the ability to change one thing in your life about how you think, your attitude or your actions, which is it and why and how does it improve your life?

We are changeable beings, since time immemorial we have adapted to any situation. If I had to think of something I could change to improve my life it would be my way of thinking. I tell you why

I consider myself a person who overthinks things and although sometimes it is not bad to do so because it gives me time to analyze the situation very well, it is often a double-edged sword, because my mind creates multiple scenarios that end up creating a state of anxiety in me and although before I saw it as normal, it is not.

The power of our mind is greater than we imagine, it is even capable of altering our organism easily. That is why improving this aspect would be a great point in my favor. I would be able to think calmly without creating fictitious situations and this in turn would lead me to make good decisions and get out of my comfort zone, something that I know can be a bit complicated for some, including myself.

As a doctor it is essential to think and act quickly in an emergency and although it sounds illogical when it comes to the workplace it is easier to quickly order my thoughts.

How has overthinking worked well for you (if ever) and has it ever worked very badly? How have you dealt with the anxiety it brings you and have you set any plans in motion to try and rectify your tendency to overthink?

At certain times it has worked for me but it got to a point where it was too much and instead of being something positive it became an anxiety problem, which I have improved significantly by doing retro inspection, psychotherapy and guided meditation.

The first step to making positive change is knowing what to change and why which you do by the sound of what you say above. Overthinking can be a roadblock but if you know it's there you can do the things required to shift it. Good luck.

The power of the mind is incredible and has the ability to decide our state of mind.
Many times we complicate things because we think a lot and we see several complicated scenarios. However, within those scenarios there are some positive ones and we discard them.

It is true that we should not act lightly, but, there are several facts that we want and can do that do not need to think the so many because we do not.

It's always good to think things through, to look for different options to solve a certain problem. I think it's fine, but in emergency situations you have to act quickly. Regards.

One of our biggest enemies is overthinking things, they fill the head with a lot of unnecessary noise and fill it with doubts, but it is always good to clear your head, get out of the comfort zone to have a better perspective on everything. Excellent post! I really enjoy reading your point of view of each of the weekend activities.
