We had beautiful weather last Saturday and enjoyed ourselves with family and friends.
My cousins decided to treat ourselves by going to the market. It has been a while since we got together to spoil ourselves.
At precisely three in the afternoon, we head to the market. We could wait for our turn quickly because fewer people were in the salon, which was a great relief.
We had the best conversations while getting our pedicures and manicures done. We've been talking about our lives a lot more lately, and it's funny to hear us laugh at the ridiculous things we discussed simultaneously.
We then decided to stroll through the market, and since the town fiestas had just ended the previous weekend, there was still a night market here in our town. As a result, we got everything we needed here and had a great time trying and selecting things we had yet to do in a long time.
We chose to head to Bazar Food Plaza for snacks after we made some purchases. Since we have not eaten, we can grab snacks here in our town plaza.
We chose to buy something from Theo's Ka-Wok food stand and sampled their best-selling food, fried noodles topped with gyoza. We are experiencing this cuisine for the first time at the Food Plaza bazaar. We add a hint of spice to give the sauce a more intriguing flavor.
We are overjoyed to have experienced these freshly discovered fried noodles, which have quickly become a favorite. We purchased the fried noodles first, then some drinks. We went with the Mango Graham Shake, which is a little more expensive than the others but tastes great and is worth the price. We were pleased with the shake's pure mango flavor.
It was a terrific weekend for us. Even though it was straightforward, it was memorable, and we had fun spending time together.
While it was true that we occasionally got bored on the weekends, we could make the most of each other's company and turn our weekend into a joyful and unforgettable occasion.
My close-knit cousin group is one of my favorite childhood memories. Weekend dinners at our grandparents' house, birthday and holiday celebrations, beach vacations shared with our families, sleepovers regularly, and other never-ending get-togethers. As we grew older, we went from being each other's playmates to confidants. We formed strong bonds between us cousins during all that family time spent together in close quarters, bonds that have lasted for decades.
They are the pillars of steadfast support, our friends on our early adventures, and the confidants in our secrets.
We understand that cousins are more than just our family as we go through life; they become our chosen family, co-conspirators, and lifelong friends.
