Last Saturday, we decided to take matters into our own hands when our parcel's delivery seemed stuck in limbo.

‎It's been five long days since it arrived at the local delivery hub.

‎But for some reason, it hasn't been delivered to our doorstep yet.

‎And so we headed to the delivery hub, determined to get our parcel.

‎When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff.

‎We then explained that our parcel had been stuck at the hub for five days and we wanted to pick it up.

‎The staff nodded understandingly and asked to provide the tracking number, name, and address so she could locate our parcel.

‎We quickly rummaged through the Shopee app and handed over the tracking number.

‎She efficiently typed it into her system and confirmed it was right there.

‎She said she'll go get it for us.

‎We stood at the delivery hub's counter, anxiously waiting for our parcel.

‎The staff had taken our tracking number, name, and address, assuring us it would just be a minute.

‎But as the minutes ticked by, our excitement turned into impatience.

‎Twenty minutes passed, then thirty, and still, there was no sign of our parcel.

‎We glanced at the clock on the wall, watching as the hands moved steadily forward.

‎Forty minutes, fifty minutes... an hour had finally passed.

‎We approached the counter again, trying to remain calm.

‎"Excuse me, I just wanted to check on the status of my parcel. It's been over an hour," I said politely.

‎The staff member apologized for the delay, checking again what was causing the holdup.

‎She disappeared into the back room, leaving us wondering what was taking so long.

‎And so we decided it was time to head home without our parcel.

‎The staff apologized again, assuring us they'd have it ready for us in the afternoon.

‎She said we could come back around 5 pm, and they should have our parcel ready.

‎And so we left the delivery hub, feeling a bit frustrated but hopeful that our parcel would be in our hands soon.

‎To make the long story short, we'd return in the afternoon, but only one of our parcels was managed to locate.

‎The second parcel that's been stuck for 5 days was still under investigation.

‎The staff then assured us they'd continue searching and contact us as soon as they found it.

‎This Saturday's adventure was a mixed feeling.

‎I am happy to have one parcel but am concerned about the other's condition; especially since it's my baby's diaper.

‎Until our next frustration and searching... Buh-bye. 👋🫶
