Hello my dear friends Hivers, I have the pleasure of greeting you and sharing how my weekend has been; which was loaded with a beautiful commission or task from distant lands; that is, "from abroad", on the occasion of my brother Leo's birthday. My sister-in-law, who is in another country, wanted to surprise him on her day and make it something special; So, she was on assignment to buy the things for this date.
My brother Leo's birthday is February 14, day of love and friendship; which makes his day even more special. One of the weekends I went to the center of Maracaibo, the commercial area of my city and which also brings together so much history and beauty that without a doubt every tourist who comes to this city in Venezuela, known as Maracaibo "the land of the beloved sun" is delighted with her. In the middle of the trip I decided to take several photographs with my dad who was accompanying me to make special purchases. Firstly, we were waiting for transportation to move, we decided to ride the Maracaibo Metro, this is a metropolitan railway designed to satisfy the need for a massive public transportation system that serves our city; But we had a long wait and nothing happened, which led us to take the bus.
The center of Maracaibo is very colorful, full of the warmth of the Zulian people; There are many stalls to buy, you can get everything there; but in the end I ended up deciding to buy in the famous "Poor Alley" And you will wonder why it is called that way? Well, I tell you that it is a place with a long history in our city where it is said that many homeless people and beggars came for alms, it was a place occupied by these people. For a long time we can see in this tarantines (Sale stall whose structure is an iron table or inn with a tin roof, where there is one next to the other throughout the place) these are for the sale of clothing for women, men , children and the whole family.
Once the purchases were made successfully and I say "successfully", the redundancy is worth it, since I found very good offers. On our way back, my dad and I headed to take the Metro back, which on this occasion was already active.
When the day arrived very early, I went to look for the cake at the bakery and surprise him in the morning with it. Upon arrival, my brother received his large gift box that I had also lovingly creatively lined over the weekend, with all those beautiful things inside that his fiancée assigned me to buy for him. Together with my two girls we decorated a dining room with tablecloths and they, with some scrap papers that they made themselves, gave a festive and colorful touch to the table.
The morning was so beautiful, happily sharing it with the family in an intimate way and with the presence on video call of my brother's fiancée, already celebrating her 30th birthday. We proceeded to joyfully sing the happy birthday notes and enjoy the delicious cake for breakfast and then some delicious tequeños, since as good Zulians this is typical of our land and cannot be missed.
The day for him passed between congratulations from friends and also gifts that were sent to him. Closing with a flourish with two delicious boxes of pizza, hamburger and hot dogs; with whom we had dinner as a family. Yes, it was a happy, happy birthday in the warmth of home!
Life is full of moments that we must learn to enjoy and give value to those around us, make special their important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, when they achieve some achievement and stop counting. In this case we celebrate my brother's birthday, as well as the day of love and friendship, although it is a commercial date on February 14, I want to tell you that love is and is demonstrated every day of our journey in this life, no only on one date; It is something that must be worked, cultivated and watered like caring for a plant so that it grows and bears abundant fruit. ¡Love is the engine that moves all things!
