Working as a chemist in a water treatment plant and haven't engaged in fulfilling my obligations as a chemist and machine administrator in Hydrowells table and sachet water company which is located in Lagos State Nigeria, retaining our company as one of the best places to get what to drink at all times.

Is always necessary to service all the machines and others that once a while in place of making an effort to generate the daily bread. Last weekend, precisely on Saturday was actually my turn to overhaul the machines used for production in preparation of Monday to Friday daily production.

Doing all this I am assigned to demand my involvement from one unit to another starting from the pumping unit, purification unit which involves the use of sand filter, gravel filter to the UV Sterilizer, ozoning treatment down to the filling unit and to the packing unit, my work so far a few days ago was actually to retain and make sure everything is in order in place for working days production and well to make entries of any damages and more within the production units.

Well it hasn't been easy, but "nothing comes from nothing", that is the reason I have to wake early in the morning of Saturday to prepare just to overcome the terrific traffic i due experience in Lagos, just because i'm always dedicated and obligated to carry out a lot of duties just this previous Saturday.

Going to check on Saturdays, which are not mainly for work in the factory, is always by shift with my colleagues, which was actually a day set aside to check up every working material, machines and time to treat water in the 10,000 liter GP tanks, as you can see me on white doing what am paid for as a certified chemist in chemistry.

Is always my responsibility to check other processing units where production is done in respect of testing running the machine and making sure it all works properly without having issues that could result in disappointment for the sake of our customers.

It was actually a good day within the weekend to have spent my time running all the machines, doing all the treatment related issues in order to ensure that I give all unto what am paid for, although it pains me in the other way round, I missed a whole lot of matches on Saturday due to assignments I went on to carry out in the company as the nature of the work demands from me.

Despite missing the matches on Saturday's premier league, I am still pleased that I love what I do for a living which Is quit related to what I studied in school in respect of water treatment which I give all my best.

I still dont know what I want to become when I grow up or what course to take in college, but I think being a chemist must be a really cool job.

Yes.. dear is a good space to explore, you can try it out, just that the course alone is hard due to it inorganic chemistry, along side with analytical aspect of it

Thank you, I'll think hard about it. All the best!
