Juwon the poultry farmer.

Hello everyone !

For those who don't know, I’m into agriculture, and you can call me Juwon the Farmer.

My journey into farming didn’t happen overnight; it's something I’ve been passionate about since I was young.

While others dreamed of becoming doctors, engineers, or lawyers, I always said I wanted to be a farmer.

A big part of what fueled this passion was the unwavering support from my brother and mum. They encouraged me to pursue agriculture, unlike some families who push their children into careers like medicine or law. Their support meant the world to me.

I remember back in high school when we were asked about our future ambitions. My classmates would often laugh when I said I wanted to be a mechanized farmer. But that didn’t bother me because I knew what I wanted. My dream is to own a large farm and venture into commercial farming, selling agricultural products like eggs across the country and even globally.

My focus in agriculture has always been on livestock production. I’m particularly interested in owning a poultry farm, a pig farm, or even a fish farm or even all together if possible. I have raised chickens before, and we enjoyed them during Christmas, which made me really proud.

Anything involving livestock is my passion, although I’m less interested in cattle rearing due to the higher costs involved.

Now, let me share with you how I made a drawing of myself feeding chickens on the farm.

I am not good at drawing like some other people but still i took some pictures of the steps i took.

Steps taken

As you can see, in the drawing, I am wearing a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up. I’m holding a black bowl filled with grains which are the dotted parts , and i am pouring them on the floor in my deep litter pen for my chickens to feed on. The chickens are mainly three white cockerels, with a white broiler breed amongst them. The biggest one is the broiler.

Thanks to @galenkp for the amazing topic towards creativity.
