Hello blockchain buddy's,
During spring and summer there are many kinds of processions held around Spain. I visited some of them while I was traveling around Spain.
This particular processions was about a holy cloth of the virgin of Mary. Why this particular cloth is "holy" I have no idea, but the horses and carriages that drove around in the procession were cool to see. People join these kinds of parades to "offer" their time as a kind of tribute to the holy virgin Mary.
But before the procession started, there is a church service. They need to cast some spells and then they are aloud to go out and show the world their holy cloth.
After church, time is there to drive the holy tarp out of the church and get it in position in the procession.
This parade is not all about the offer of time, they are also "offering" a lot of liquor. I think some of them were not capable of "driving around" anymore.
It was a full moon that evening. It looked very pretty when it came up.
I tried capture it with some people in the foreground. i was to close to the people on the foreground. Then it 's hard to get the moon sharp in frame.
It's also a big happening for families and friends groups. Every body is dressed-up in their most beautiful cloths and all are enjoying the ride.
