Hello weekend lovers.
A couple of weeks ago I visited this museum in the center of the city of Utrecht.
There was a photo realism exhibition and there was a lot of nice things to see.
Like this installation from the Britto Arts Trust that is a collaboration project between 7 artist from Bangladesh.
It's an installation that asks for attention of our capitalistic food system. It's not about feeding the people anymore but it's all about making money.
And that is literally destroying the food system.
They have build a market stand out of recycled materials such as wood and corrugated iron.
But the food inside the stand is not the real deal.
0% papaya, some of the in the shape of a hand grenade.
Bomb-botels of coke and gun exploding cauliflowers.
The boxes of Campbell's Chiquita are very soft. They are made as pillows. I want on my sofa now. To bad those company's are not soft. The banana bro's were paying dead squads to put pressure on the local farmers in Colombia. It's a horrible story. That company's go that far to make money.
Some grenade apple's and paprika's
Fish guns and fish bombs. It really makes you think what the company really want. Feed the people or kill them becasue of the chemicals used to grow our food!
There is a lot of symbolism in this installation. it really made me think about my food intake.
Go visit their websites and social media accounts and support them a bit. they did a good job in this one.
