Between shower and Bath?

Between bath and shower which do I prefer?

The different method of washing oneself. It's either you go under the shower or you use the bucket.

When you sit in a water full of soap is called bathing and shower is when the water runs from your head down. But for the purpose of this post I will be referring to bathing as complete washing of the body. So yeah!

I feel shower is too mild for the body and not really suitable for me. I only use the shower when I just want to rinse off, or have water run down my body from my head.
But my favourite of it all is bathing, bathing is more intentional and deliberate. These act is usually done with soap, sponge and a face towel

Sponge, soap, bucket and gloves are essential tools for a proper clean section.

The feeling of pouring water over oneself with a bowl and bucket of water brings one satisfaction. I feel like I am doing a whole lot to keep myself clean using these things.

Here in Africa, Nigeria to be precise the weather can be so hot sometimes that it makes one sweat unnecessarily. I personally sweat a lot and so you can only imagine what would happen if I only shower with properly bath, I mean scrubbing with soap and sponge.
I feel really clean each time I have a bath, although I was told that we aren't supposed to always scrub our body often because it can damage the skin, but I guess I am already damaged 😀 because this act was installed on me by my parents.

Funny enough I hardly even use the shower in my bathroom and I am not alone because most people consider that has fancy and a waste of time.

All the bathrooms have a bucket and a bowl that is usually used to pour water over the body.

If you are reading this and you haven't tried using these tools to bath yourself then this is your chance to try it out.

I've tried both, but in my country the bucket is more traditional, even having a shower. Nice post. Greetings and blessings 🙏

Thanks for stopping by 🥰
