Hey lovelies ❤️
It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese 😍
Welcome to my blog 🤗
It is not an easy task to be a business woman and to be a mother of an infant especially during their holidays. Considering the fact that kids require a lot of time and attention to ensure that their needs are met and that they are safe, it will affect other things especially if you are a sole business owner that does not have a help or apprentice. It is a bad idea to stay a second without keeping an eye on your kids when they are playing to avoid accidents that can be prevented. Well, that's not the gist for today. Today, I will be sharing with you the memories I created with my boy when I went out with him to a Kiddies recreational centre.
Sometimes last month, on a Saturday, about some minutes past noon, we headed out to the new Kiddies recreational centre that just opened in my neighbourhood. I saw the banners that they displayed on the road, so I had to take note of the address. It was a relief to have a place where I can take my child to have some fun and more importantly it was not a far distance.
The Amusement parks that we do visit is located in the City Centre and it costs quite a lot to get there in terms of transportation. So, on getting to the newly opened kiddies recreational centre, the first thing we did was to pay for the tickets to gain access into the playground.
There are different games for different age grades. The ticket we bought for him costs $2.61 (NGN4000), this includes a pair of socks and his duration for using the facility is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. So, at the entrance, just before you enter the playground the kids and their guardian will pull of their shoes before entering so that they won't injure themselves with it. However, the first few moments were challenging for me because my baby boy was afraid to do the games. Or maybe it isn't fear, maybe he was not just accustomed to the environment yet. For about 20 minutes I was gearing him up to do one or more of the games but it proved abortive.
Guess what I did! I had to turn myself to a baby and start demonstrating how the games were played to him. As he saw me running up and down, left and right, he began to loosen up and started joining other kids to play. There were different segments in the playground where you can play once at a time. You can switch to another activity when you're bored of one and you can repeat the process as many times as possible. Some of the activities are swing, merry-go-round, tunnel, seesaw, etc.
He played tirelessly for over an hour before I decided that we should start going home. He was enjoying the fun that he didn't want to go home. The atmosphere of the recreational centre was cozy, the management was top-notch and we enjoyed their services.
The importance of spending quality moments with your family cannot be overemphasised. These moments will create memories that will remembered for a long time. The memories will pop up during family discussions in the house about how you all had a great time out. I promise to take him out before he resumes school in about three weeks away and I will share it with you all my hive family.
