This is for the weekend engagement week 250
I have acted a few times in plays (though not as a professional). Whenever we have our community outtings or church programs that requires entertaining the phone people with dramas, I have been opportuned to feature among the actresses in a few times. I do not actually act like a professional who is well vested with acting skills. But just to make ourselves happy and catch some funs, I have acted.
In one of such instances, I acted like the wife of the king. In that drama, we were trying to portray the importance of appreciation and praises. So, the king has not pleased and the wife tried everything she could think of to please the king but the king refused to respond. Then, someone came in and started singing praises to the king and immediately, the king who was not happy started smiling and offered many things to that lady.
Talking about musicals, I sing myself. I am a song writer and a musician. I have featured on set in different locations to make videos for my music. There have been several times I lead in the music presentation in my local church.
Acting is something which we do out of passion. Many people do not have passion for acting. Also, some people are too shy to stand on stage before people and make presentations. Because of these deficiencies, there are many people (like me) who are very skeptical about acting. The good side of acting is that it build morale and self confidence. When we constantly appear before people to make dramatic presentations, we are motivated and strengthened.
