Hello friends, once again
@galenkp offers us several interesting topics to reflect on this weekend. War is a current issue that is affecting the world, we live in times that generate stress, that have forced us to abandon some projects, and in the face of difficulties we can think or act in a logical way or let ourselves be carried away by our emotions, for my part I think that the ideal would be to seek a balance. In recent days I have been thinking about situations that are causing me stress, so I will take this topic to reflect:
What pressure and stress are you currently feeling, explain what and why, and how you might improve the situation.
ORGANIZING TIME
One of the biggest challenges I have been facing in the last few years is the difficulty of organizing my agenda and the use I make of my time. I need to combine the different roles I currently perform in my day-to-day life.
HOUSEHOLD TASKS
There are many tasks we have to perform to keep our house in order: cleaning the spaces, keeping them in order to easily locate the things we need, buying food and preparing it, washing clothes and then organizing them, paying utility bills. When we don't have a person to help us with these tasks, they can become an uphill struggle.
I am not a wife or a mom, so I don't have those kinds of responsibilities, but currently I have to take care of my mother, who is 95 years old, no longer walks, which means for me to take care of a person who depends on me for her most basic needs, as if she was a baby. I have to take care of her food, her grooming, her health.
THE PROFESSIONAL AGENDA
I am currently my own boss, which allows me to organize my time in the way that suits me. I give writing and literature courses and editorial consulting, I support people who want to publish a book, I correct their texts, I guide them in the editorial production process, and I help them with their work.
It might seem like an ideal situation, if my clients and my income were constant. But they are not always. Sometimes, despite making a significant effort, students do not come in the necessary quantity, sometimes it can be a while before clients arrive to do editorial work.
We live in a globalized world, very competitive and you must have the necessary skills to stand out, even if you are a good professional, so that your potential clients choose you. That is why it is necessary to use a significant percentage of your time in planning and executing digital marketing strategies, you no longer compete only with local professionals in your area.
I have been taking digital marketing courses for several years now, but I really don't have the skills to implement some of the strategies learned. This really worries me.
As I said at the beginning of this text, my great challenge at present is to manage to combine two agendas that have become challenging for me, household chores and my professional agenda. But I am also a sociable person, who is frequently invited to events in my professional area, book presentations, conferences, poetry recitals, or simply friends who want to have a cup of coffee, to see a friend or to meet a friend for a drink.

Honestly, I'm feeling overwhelmed, sometimes I feel like I can't cover all the tasks I need to do properly and this stresses me out. I cannot afford to pay for support either at home or professionally. I must find a more assertive way to organize my time.
