The great outdoors experience for an introvert

in Weekend Experiences10 months ago (edited)

Hello, hive family, This weekend was a very fun one, and I'm glad this community and @galenkp gave me an opportunity to share my experience. I haven't really gone out for a while, but I did this weekend, and it was an experience I enjoyed and I'm very happy to share it with you.

I love the great outdoors. It's even weird to me because I'm an introvert and I can’t stand to be in a crowded environment, but even at that, I love going out.

This weekend started off with a family outing. I took my kid siblings to an amusement park, where they went on so many rides and also went swimming.

I love taking them out; it gives us a chance to bond as siblings, and because they are kids, it helps them get exposure, see, and mingle with other kids.
It also helps with their vocabulary; seeing and listening to how others talk and pronounce certain words, you can learn from anywhere, not just in school; anywhere you go has something to impact you, and I'm glad to give them that experience.

Then I went out with a few friends and my boyfriend. It was nice to see everyone in a new element—how they interact with people outside, how they communicate. Going out with friends also strengthens the bond between your friends.

The names of the cocktales I saw, I have never seen in my life. I ended up ordering a long island ice tea; it was the only familiar drink on the menu. I love going out, but tasting new stuff is where I draw the line.
It was a fun experience all together. I had fun. I have had a stressful week, so it was good to blow off some steam and just vibe.

Reasons why i prefer outdoors to indoors

  1. It helps me to get out of my head for a while,I usually overthink and sometimes its bad so leaving the house and mingling with others helps me.

  2. You get more experience and exposure when you go out

  3. It gives me a break from my screens especially my phone.

  4. To make new friends and see what is happening around you.

My weekend was amazing. I might not be open to tasting new foods or drinks, but I made new friends, I got to bond with my siblings, and I got to see new places.

Most times, people prefer indoors because they are less expensive and have less noise. But you don't necessarily have to spend so much when going out, or even spend at all.You can have a quiet picnic outdoors with friends and homemade foods and snacks. You can even have the picnic by yourself and read a good book.I enjoyed my weekend and am looking forward to more experiences.
