RE: Sweet, sweetest. Weekend commitment. Week 256.

Refined sugar, in fact any sugar that is not natural like fruits, and in excess these are not good either. I like salty food more... much more, plus I'm a low blood pressure person. But sweets don't appeal to me, I eat a little bit and I find it so cloying that I can't eat any more hahaha.

I almost don't eat things with sugar, although flours also contain it... it's very difficult to give it up completely, but as I'm not so fond of them, I'm fine. You have to learn to control yourself and it's complicated.

I wish I could stay away from sweets more; I actually love combining flavors... a sandwich with a sweet malt is something I find hard to avoid, and believe me, I'm managing to restrain myself, but it's still difficult.

Fortunately, and unfortunately, sugar has become very expensive, and it's no longer possible to make sweets or even buy them; they've become mere luxuries these days.

I think it's great that you like saltier foods more, although you shouldn't overdo it with salt; it also has many drawbacks. Imagine that since my high blood pressure started, the amounts I use are very low in every meal I prepare... so much so that I've gotten used to it... I should do the same with sugar.

Sorry for the delay in responding. More than 18 hours without power... no connection.

You have nothing to apologise for.... Don't worry, I almost don't put salt in my food... I have low blood pressure, my normal is 10-6 imagine hahaha but here I don't suffer from it, when I was in Argentina I lived on the floor hahahahaha
