As individuals, we are all unique in our ways. Some are very good in planning and some are not.
Planning is very important in every area of life. I believe that it helps us to be on track with our life goals and aspirations. It helps us to keep track of the progress we are making. Planning also helps us to increase our speed towards our goals because when we plan and set a deadline to achieve something, our heart will be there and we would do everything to achieve it.
I am a person who loves to plan and set target for progress because one thing I'm most particular about in life is growth, and planning has helped me a lot to achieve some of my dreams. Later on in life, I discovered that some times, I have no power over some of the circumstances that I come across in life which may hinder my plans. There was a time in my life, that I already mapped out plans for my studies and it was going fine until I fell sick and couldn't do anything. The plans I had was destroyed, and I couldn't achieve my goals. I was devastated and sad because I believed I had failed but then I had to be clear with myself that I had no control over what happened. That was when I became at peace with myself
Since then, I try not to be too hard with my plans, having in mind that circumstances beyond my control may occur and when it occurs I don't beat myself. I make plans just to have a guide so that I will not derail from my goals and I take anything that life brings my way and just go with the flow.
I had plans with my friend for this weekend we just wanted to go out and unwind and have some fun but it's no longer possible as she had to cancel. So, I had to do something else.
