The first Community war and battles on Inleo are On!
Please do not get the idea that these battles are about going out and hurting someone. Instead these are designed to increase the engagement for the users of hive blockchain via the use of the Inelo frontend.
The idea is to incentivize users to increase their engagement on threads. These battle and war activities are designed to incentivize healthy, positive and friendly competition between various communities.
In this process votes would be given out based on the quality of content and engagement.
This vote giving or curation activity would be a fair way to distribute leo power to the wider number of users who choose to contribute positively by way of making content on threads.
These activities are open to which all communities?
Any Hive community that has contributing members that are active on hive can participate in these war and battle activities.
Currently the communities that can be joined as part of the initiative are

- FreeCompliments
- Loving Hive
- Hive Run
- Cent
- Humanitas
- Bro
In order to participate a community must contact the inleo team and register to be eligible to parrticipate in the battles and wars.
Since registration is limited communitity members can ask their community founders to get in touch with the inleo team so that they can be included in the community was for the month of July.
For hive users who are alredy a part of the above mentioned communities the news is that the war and battles for June are already underway.
So buckle up and align your inleo thread activities with that of your respective community leader guidelines.
What are these Battles?
A battle is a week long activity that would start on the Morning of each Monday and runs upto Saturday midnight.
The winning in these battles involves accumulation of points.
Therefore each community member should work intelligently towards helping his/ her community amass the maximum number of points.
There are 4 ways in which each community can accumulate points that contribute towards winning these battles.
#1. Stack up the thread count by making as many threads that you can make. For a thread to count towards your tally the users should use the selected hashtag.
The threads made are measured by threads in their hashtag + replies to threads in their hashtag)
#2 Upvotes on threads count too
Do make it a point to upvote other member comments as both the total number of votes to a thread as well as the replies go towards the point contribution.
#3 The Number of posts made in the long form also helps increase the point stack.
#4 Make sure to comment on long form posts
These comments under the long form posts within your community also help you add up points.
What is the duration of a War?
The wars are one month long that would start on the first of each month and end on the last day of the month UTC time.
Who wins the war?
The community that gets the maximum number of points wins the War for the month.
There are various ways to stack up these points.
- Winning the weekly battles gets a community 250 points every week
- By onboarding new users into the community you can stack up 500 extra points.
What are the prizes?
The Monthly or the prizes for winning the War
The community that wins the war gets double the delegation that it currently has from inleo.
The duration of delegation is 30 days.
The delegation gets compounded for winning multiple wars in a row.
However if you lose a war your delegation returns to the original value.
