Armed with these kits there might be someone coming for your beloved Sol coins and other tokens.
Where are these toolkits being sold?
There are on the dark web and dedicated communities working to drain solana wallets.
The fad to scam people is so strong that one Solana wallet drainer community has as many as 6200 members.
How do these scams work
Most of these scammers would be using phishing attacks luring users to click on malicious links operated and designed using the Solana wallet drainer kits.
when an unsuspecting user clicks on such a link and authorizes a transaction which is a malicious one in the garb of a genuine one the entire fund in the user wallet gets drained.
Why would any user click on such a link?
There are many ways that scammers lure you to click on these malicious links.
Airdrops is the most lucrative way of doing this.
They set up a fake site claiming to offer an airdrop. Circulate the link on various social media groups to lure the Solana holders.
