I was one thing making copies of a friend's tape, or waiting patiently for your favorite songs on the radio so you can make a mixtape, yes, I am that old, lol. But when people were able to share through CD burning, USB drives, and then online... Oh shit, the music industry was pretty much done for. Then entered streaming and now, nobody makes money unless they perform live.

As far as AI, it NEEDS to be open source for us to really be able to trust it. We need a hornets nest of developers from around the world auditing the code. Now, crazy randos on the internet feeding say an LLM model, that's scary, lol. But why not... Let's see what happens, lol.
