Some are speculating that Tesla will bring out an electric van. This may or may not be the case. However, I will use this as the scenario which will exemplify how convergence could take place.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised anymore. If they see a viable market for it, they very well could make it. Personally, I don't think so. The global population is going down, there are less and less big families, with vehicles getting cheaper, more people are getting their own vehicles, so there is less demand for a van.
