It is interesting how that worked out.

They killed the cable/satellite model, opting for streaming. This led to billions dropped only to see them revert back to the advertising model, which is now less profitable for shows than before. The stack of distribution consolidated, removing a great deal of money from the equation.

Of the two disruptions Hollywood is facing, we are still focusing upon the first. This isnt even accounting for AI in the equation.
