Have you noticed how AI has captured the attention of most of the world?
There is a reason for this. While some might proclaim that we are in a hype cycle, my view is we are dealing with societal changing technology. This is not a fad. We are seeing a foundation laid upon which enormous advancements will be made.
This means every sector will be affected. Nothing is going to be left untouched.
Since we are dealing with the digital world, that will see disruption first. How that exactly looks is anyone's guess.
What we do know is that it will be here, probably before we are expecting.
LEO Needs To Be In The AI Game
Elon Musk, upon purchasing Twitter, stated his goal to be "the everything app". This was based upon WeChat, the popular Chinese application that performs a great deal more than just social media tasks.
Since Musk made that statement, things have changed a great deal.
Today, we are in a world of chatbots, LLMs, SLMs, and an assortment of other technologies that will alter many things. Content creation is only one part of the equation. That said, it is important to note that we can see a separation by having a digital platform to build upon.
For this reason, Leo needs to be in the AI game. In fact, I will go as far to say it should be a priority. This is something that should be catapulted to the top of the list.
Why?
Simply put, the clock is ticking. My view is that Leo needs to start to position itself as an AI platform. Naturally, there will come a time when every platform is that. Nevertheless, perception is crucial.
What we have is a shift in thinking.
A New Approach
Most who view my videos know I cover Tesla in detail.
One of the things happening right now is the company is transitioning from being just an auto company to a full-blown AI company. It is even moving beyond the concept of just technology.
This is a position that many do not accept. In other words, they do not see it. Yet, here we have a car company buying NVIDIA processors at a pace that rivals Meta. What does that tell you?
Why do I bring this comparison up?
The reason stems from the fact that a change in this is required. Out of this comes a new approach. The world is rapidly changing and those who resist will get left behind.
LLMs are just the first phase. The key is to develop services on top of this. Here is where enormous value is going to be realized.
applications are where the money is at. My guess is LLMs end up as commodities since most are going to train on the same data. What will separate it is what is built into the applications.
Once again, services.
This is something that Web 3.0 has not excelled at. It is time for Leo to make that stand. By approaching things from the AI perspective, we can get ahead of the curve.
We know X is fully immersed into this. That platform is going to have Grok spread through. Google is doing the same with search and YouTube. No surprise with Meta either.
As always, the key is to keep people on the platform. This means answering their question and providing people with what they need. Here is where AI is a huge benefit. Many opine this is a major competitor of search (read Google). Why go to a search engine when the app will answer for you?
Of course, that is only the beginning.
Boom times
We are rapidly advancing towards a number of singularities.
One of them is economic. There are hundreds of trillions of dollars at stake. When we talk about market capitalization, we need to realize that a billion dollars entity is not going to be large by the end of this decade.
In fact, it could be just a bit player.
What do you think about the price of LEO with a market cap of a billion? Does that make your mouth water?
AI can have this impact. As stated, we will see single person companies worth that amount. It simply is the power of what we are dealing with.
Imagine what we can do with a few thousand decided people on Leo. Developing Leo as an AI platform means we can start to leverage things in ways others cannot. It will likely be a small window but could be enough to separate it from much of what is out there.
The world is evolving and we need to focus upon how it can benefit us.
