In this video I discuss the challenges the company will face in manufacturing outside China. They still use a process that is labor intensive, something that will not work in higher cost markets.

I wonder if it is in their best interest to set up manufacturing outside of China. I think they are already weighing the pros and cons, but one of their biggest advantage against their competition is their cheap vehicle costs. If they have to increase their prices to compensate for the increased labor costs, they will lose their edge.

Once again I am convinced that reading reference literature is much more useful than watching educational videos, bloggers often omit important details in this or that :)
