Don't forget about North Dakota and Idaho, they are also outlawing these draconian CBDCs in favor of decentralization.
Pro-crypto states will end up being more prosperous in the long-run, because private cryptocurrencies have the edge.
Since most stablecoins are backed by the dollar, I don't really see the point of the US making CBDCs. Can't they just allow/accept stablecoins in their stores/payments instead?
