I have seen some layoffs in corporate companies where the manager takes the employee for a tea break outside the building, and they just collect the ID card and send them home.

That's evil man, but that's the sad reality. I hope, IT is seeing it's saturation, we are done with IT to a large extent. That's the reason, I recommended my son not to join a degree in CS.
