Hive earnings on Binance crashed!

From 40% to 1,74 %

I have been earning extra Hive on Binance on the earnings page daily for the last few months. I started with 2000 Hive, sold and rebought a few times. And I earned around 600 Hive with that. But on the earnings page I earned another 197 Hive on top of that 600.

This all due to the amazing interest rate there was on Binance for Hive. On average it was about 40 % APR.

But for some reason that has ended today. Now we are at a disappointing 1,74 %.

I guess all good things come to an end…

                          2 reasons can be behind that:

                          1., Some whale put there a lot.

                          2., The futures trading volume declined. (Some futures whale trader stopped trading Hive there.)

                          3., Both happened together.

                          Some of the people just buy from %age of futures profit the traded coin all the time and move to earnings - i like to do it, too -, till it gives good enough return, so sure, it will be boosting back some soon, maybe not that high, but high enough to be still worthy just simply keep it there, instead of on Hive, especially not staked for the 3% (or 10% with activity).

                          Exchanges finance the earnings from futures trading fees, I suppose you know it.

                          And today is a very quiet day.

                          Just a hint: Binance is not the only place, where Hive earnings exist... 😉
