97,4 billion dollars
Elon Musk has made an offer of 97,4 billion dollars op OpenAI. Together with other partners he made the offer to buy back the company he left in 2019.
Musk and Altman are having a tough relationship and are already fighting in court. So chances are quite slim that Sam Altman will accept. But who knows what Elon Musk has up his sleeve to become the big man at OpenAI.
Together with his own AI project at X, called GROK, Musk would have the biggest market share of AI tools in his hands. Even though he says he wants to make OpenAI and its tools, ChatGPT and Sora open source!
