Wow, I feel like this came out of nowhere. Some of the last news I've read had been the big companies still training their robots, and this comes out with a production ready line. I can understand the limited capabilities, but being one of, if not the, first, humanoid robot out can be big for the company. They can collect real world, and actual work data, while being paid to do so.

For the lifting, I wonder what the max weight it can carry is. It can remove the risk of injury from humans, and if it can carry more, maybe make work more efficient. I can already imagine it in airport baggage duty or in transferring shipments.
