RE: The Importance of Tesla Dojo

in LeoFinance4 months ago

I've read that Nvidia is going to release B100s soon to replace the H100s. I guess the biggest question is how will these Tesla chips stack up against the old and new chips of Nvidia. I've read that Meta scooped up a lot of H100s before, so they might do the same with the B100s.

A lot in line for the B100s.

Blackwell is going to be released next year. I am sure Elon has orders in for both companies but the question is how many are they going to get? This is everyone's dilemma.

Meta is buying from Google now in addition to whatever they get from Nvidia.

Yeah, AMD or other chip manufacturers need to step up to not only provide competition to Nvidia, but to have more chips available for all the demand. Tesla with their chips is a good move, but I just hope it is efficient enough.

The problem is TSMC is still the one who actually makes most of them, at least the high end ones. It is becoming quite a fascinating industry to watch.

That is true. I've heard they are still so far ahead of the competition as well. Samsung is trying to stay in the game though.

Have to find out if Samsung is building at scale. That is the interesting part of the industry, so many layers as to who is really doing what.

Few foundaries out there.
