If Tesla is able to address this problem, then that will be a huge step forward for their FSD, and AI as a whole. A lot of unsolved problems can reach a breakthrough. We can hopefully find cures for different illnesses. But those advanced inferences are still very far in the future. From what I've read, being able to identify street signs in a new road/destination are some of the early targets for inference.
