I think it is the logical next step. Tesla is already working on AI, so AGI is just around the corner. The FSD already takes into account a lot of information simultaneously while driving. This can be similar to how a human processes multiple information from its surroundings. Of course there are a lot more needed, but they are already crawling, and can soon stand up.
