RE: The Abysmal Tesla Numbers And Is There Room For Optimism?

in LeoFinance2 years ago

I saw a lot of posts about Tesla and Elon in Reddit. As expected, a lot of the blame is being pinned on Elon. While I'm sure some are warranted, but since BYD is also facing some difficulties it seems to be the EV industry as a whole experiencing it.

Sort:

Actually it is the entire auto industry. The numbers out of China are that EVs accounted for 48% of the new car sales in March. If the numbers are this poor, then what does that say about ICE sales.

As for Elon, if he is to blame for the bad quarter, was is responsible for the record 4th quarter they had?

It seems the naysayers want it both ways.

I agree, and that is where the ones with agenda really shows. Those that just hate Elon or want to see him fail would blame him for the downs but find other reasons for the ups. It is difficult to expect fairness from them. Additionally, cars are a big purchase. Since they had a record 4th quarter, a bad one after is understandable.
